When I was a child growing up in Staten Island, NY, I received a Nikon Fun Touch 35mm camera for my 12th birthday. I immediately took it to the zoo; I simply could not wait to get some shots of the animals and share the photos with my friends and family. A love affair with photography was born.

This love affair grew as I would travel to different places around the world and take the images home with me burned onto a roll of film. My interest in photography has since developed into an absolute passion. Photography is a release for me, a way to get closer to the natural world and a way to find beauty in the man-made world.
I am currently using a Konica-Minolta Maxxum 7D digital SLR, although some of my earlier shots were captured with a Pentax ZX-5N 35 mm SLR. I reside in Matawan, NJ with my wife Amy and our new son, Benjamin. I hope you enjoy my photographs as much as I enjoyed shooting them.
